Be Negative!

It sounds really uncommon paradigm in our society. Wait! Don't judge too early this strange thinking is truly bad. It's still okay to think in negative perspective as long as these stuffs can drive you to do the positive actions and to become a successful people. Many negative things actually could become a trigger or starting point to success gate.
We can learn these meaningful lessons from Be Negative, a book compiled by Agoeng Widyatmoko from diaries of failures and mistakes Naomi Susan experienced until she becomes an Indonesian Super Successful Young Entrepreneur as people see her now. I think this book, which lists the negative sentences like "Let You Desperate", "Let You Kill Your Creativity", "Let You Be Jealous", "Let You Give Up", and many more followed by some explanations of the negative consequences and the positive achievements if we don't do these stuffs, will inspire and motivate us.
I'm not intended to advertise this book, actually. I found this book when I went to Gramedia bookstore this morning. Its extraordinary title has lured me to buy this book.

Love Quotes

Talking about love, it's better for me to share several famous love quotes here. Note, it's not to be read only but to be understood and to be felt.
We are all born for love. It is the principle of existence, and its only end.Benjamin Disraeli
Love has nothing to do with you are expecting to get, it's what you are expected to give - which is everything.Anonymous
Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, loving someone deeply gives you courage.Lao-Tzu
Love seems the swiftest, but it is the slowest of all growths. No man or woman really knows what perfect love is until they have been married a quarter of century.Mark Twain

Learning from the Coconut Tree

A coconut tree, a plant easily found in Indonesia and other tropical countries especially alongside the beach, has many benefits from all its part as well as many life lessons for human beings. From this tree, I can learn some lessons as follows:
1. The Root
With small but strong and numerous roots that hold tight into the beneath of the soil, the coconut tree can stand up more stable and stronger facing the big wind blows from the ocean everyday. This strong roots teach me that a person has to have a strong good principle or fundamental in his life, so that he cannot be easily oscillated by other people to the wrong direction.
2. The Body (Tree)
Its strong and long tree is usually used as a structure of traditional house building e.g. as a roof frame and as a pillar. The lesson is as a person should be tough and strong to face his life whether in good or bad condition, because life is not easy.
3. The Top (Coconut Fruit, Leaves, and other parts)
A coconut tree is not fast productive plant, it needs around four years until it produces its so useful fruit for daily people consumption. The young coconut fruit, especially a green one ("degan"), which has a fresh and sweet taste, usually drunk to get rid of thirsty in a hot day. Besides, its complete mineral composition water usually used to be a first aid for diarrhea. The old coconut fruit, its 'nuts', can be processed into many ways, e.g. coconut milk, coconut oil, copra, etc. The outside 'nuts' cover, fiber, can be changed into strong ropes and broom, while the coconut shell usually used as traditional fuel for cooking and can be changed into valuable crafts by creative people. Its leaves bones also can be made as a broom.
Actually, there are still many advantageous usage of all parts of the coconut, and I think it is too exhaustive to mention those here.
The most important lessons, first a person has to be patient to reach success. Success is a result of process which needs time, not obtained instantly. Secondly, a person should be useful and more useful for human life from young until old age.
4. The Presence of the tree
When sitting or laying on beside or under the windy coconut tree, I feel cool and comfortable and can breathe fresh air. Also, viewing the lines of coconut trees along the beach is amazing scenery. From this, I got that a person should make his circumstances more peaceful and beautiful.
For all, there is always meaning in every creature in our surroundings.
